  We came here for our anniversary dinner last night and it was great! Service was really good, food tasty (and quick), for fair prices. If I was down in Lorne more often, I'd head back here.

  The formal restaurant is ok. Food is fine, nothing exceptional. The view is why you are there. They should take it up a level and make it a better experience. Less old school, less trying to be a country pub menu (seriously) and more inner city and interesting.

  Lovely breakfast. Nothing fancy. You get exactly what you order. Fetta scramble is delicious. Great coffee too. Nice atmosphere - good background music, fab views of the beach. A little expensive compared with Melbourne prices but look where we are... fabulous Lorne!

  Would give 1/2 a star if I could. Had breakfast there with my husband, they were clearly understaffed as it took them 20 min before coming to clear the table and we finally got our food way before we got our coffee. The food was disguting and cold when we got it. Bacon and hash brown tasted like they've been cooked an hour before actually been put on the plate. The 'avocado' was actually a very vinagry and weird tasting guacamole. The coffee was bitter and burnt. And everything was over priced. The view though, is amazing, but avoid the food if you don't want to walk out of there disgusted.
